How can I get rid of spybot

I uninstalled spybot to sopp popups and such, but I still get Spybot popups all the time. How can I get rid of this stupid software?

1 in SpybotSnD in the Immunize page, Undo the Permanent IE immunity and Uninstall the Permanently running bad download blocker for IE.

2 in SpybotSnD: File-> Uninstall -> Remove Spybot-S&D settings from the registry.

3 uninstall SpybotSnD from the Control Panel.

4 download and execute the two registry cleanup routines:

5 after that you should be able to delete the sdhelper.dll even without rebooting.

6 now remove the folders:

C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy

Windows 95 or 98: C:\Windows\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\

Windows ME: C:\Windows\All Users\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\

Windows NT, 2000 or XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy
