I have a problem with Windows Explorer and other programs. Whenever I try to use any of my "system" programs (i.e. My Computer, Windows explorer, anything that had file directories), I get an error like this: "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for the inconvenience." This also happens with Internet Explorer, Recycling Bin, and many other programs on my desktop. They ALL say "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem" What is the problem and how do I fix it?

Try to run scan disk and defragmenter so you eliminate the hard drive as a problem
Reinstall the OS and rebuild your hard drive But don't forget first backup your data.
Use Dr.watson to diagnose the problem and check the website support.microsoflt.com for the error
