How do I fix my hard drive error?

Dear sir/madam

i have poweredge2300 server..

i have problem with hard disk

while computer is starting i pressed CTRL + A it went to some scsi utility mode

from there id did format button and then it started formatting it is going on late.. in the middle i stopped the formatting...

after again restarting i kept windows2000 advanced server but it is showing some error that the hard disk error

and i went to fdisk as well it is showing the following error - hard disk reading error

and i went to dm as well it is showing mbr failure

i tried to do mbr write again it is showing error.. that it cant write and it cant back up as well...

would u plz help me in this issue...

what should i do for repairing the master boot record failure and what steps should i take to correct my hard disk it is 8gb only....

shall i keep again scsi utility format ( low leverl format) it is taking long time to get format...

only twice i stopped.. how can i rectify this error.. and i install windows 2000 advanced server...

plz show me some solution to this querry ...

You can try the FDisk/MBR command which is used to repair damage to the program in the MBR.

If the problem persists even after trying all that you have tried, then your MBR has been badly corrupted and cannot be repaired.

you will need to replace the hard drive.
