My computer locks up or freezes. how do i prevent that?

I can install new printer software via cd rom on my computer. How do I fix that problem?

Run your antivirus software, CHKDSK or SCANDISK( these last ones save lost clusters to files).

If you find a virus and after all these actions your computer keeps freezing, it means the virus has damaged the boot sectors Erase everything and FDISK to rebuild and format your hard drive

For installing printer software, you go to control pannel and double click on add/remove programs, click add.

The same thing you have to do to unistall your previous version of aol From add/remove programs highlight the aol version you want to uninstall and click remove button
