Well, I just finished putting together my new computer. And when I turn it on, the fans light up and spin, heatsink spins, video card fan spins and it all looks good. But it beeps twice and doesnt boot up so I can install the OS. The monitor is plugged in, but remains amber the entire time. How can I fix this? Thanks.

Before video is active, AMIBIOS communicates errors with beep codes.

If you hear two beeps than you have to reseat your memory modules or replace them If it is one long beep two short beeps than it is a problem in your video card For specific beep codes for your BIOS first look in the system board documentation or on top of the BIOS chip for the brand and version number of the BIOS.
