My computer was upgraded from Windows Me to Windows XP. When my Microsoft Works 2000 was reinstalled, I opened it up to find it empty. All my task and program list was gone. There is no spreadsheet, labels or any task I want to perform is missing. The disk came with my computer. I have tried several times reinstalling Works but the same thing happens. Where did they go?

Thanks JS

Create a shorcut for the application on your desktop After you have done that right-click the shortcut and select Properties from the shortcut menu.

When the Properties window displays, select the Compatibility tab Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and then select the operating system you want XP to emulate.

Click apply to apply the change, then run the software to see if it has worked.
