How can I open with Drive C: without using double click?

Drive C: cannot open with double click

This question was answered on April 7, 2004. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.


In My Computer, click on the C Drive once, then right-click and select OPEN in drop-down menu That should open up the C Drive.

Also, if you go into the Control Panel and look for the Mouse icon, right-click it and select OPEN in the drop-down menu.

The Mouse Properties display box will appear and in the Buttons tab in the middle of the form,

you see a section that says Files and Folders.

You will also (2) choices: one to open by single click and the other to open by double click.

Choose "Double-click to open an item (single-click to select)".

This will also allow you to open any file or folder by double-clicking.
