First you can't send me an email because it's not working. That's why I'm contacting you. My number is 480.363.7653. I need to know what folders to place my Outlook 2000 in on my new XP computer. Instructions from MS say to copy them to the SAME location as before, but 98 subdirectories are different from XP. Please help. I get over 1000 emails a day and I'm helpless right now.

Use the Compatibility Mode utility It provides an application with the evironment it expects from the operating system it was designed for.

Create a shortcut on the desktop for Outlook 2000 Right-click the shortcut and click on Properties The properties window will display and then you will select the Compatibility tab.

In this tab, check "Run this program in compatibility mode for" then select the operating system that you want XP to emulate Click apply to apply change.

Then, of course, you will need to set up your email connection and so forth.
