My IE history cleans out every time I restart my machine. I have the "Days to keep pages in history" selection set to 20. It's not really a big deal, but when I go to sites like Google, where I have my preferences set just the way I like them, the are always reset to default Google settings. My Temporary Internet Files Settings is set to 1224 MB. Any ideas? Thanks for your time.

To whom it may concern:

On some systems it is default to erase your Temporary Internet files everytime you close IE To turn this off open internet explorer, click on tools, internet options, advanced tab, scroll down towards the bottom to the security area and there is a box that says "Empty Temporary Internet files when browser is closed" Make sure that this box is UNCHECKED, one it is click ok and your temporary internet files will not be deleted unless you do it manually.

Sincerely,

Dimitrios Theodorou
