I had copied some files to a cd using windows 2000. My friend cannot open them in his computer - win 98. I believe it is the file formats of NTFS & FAT due to the different windows os. Is there a way to read them in win 98?

thanks

Yes, but the problem your friend may be having is that the CD has not been finalized prior to you giving it to him When you wrote the file to that CD, if you did not finalize that CD, then you friend will not be able to read that CD on his computer.
