Hi. I want to upgrade my computer from Windows 98 to XP AND install a new motherboard, processor and video card.

My question is...should I do any one of these before the other? Any advice or tips would be wonderful. Thank you so much.

First, upgrade the motherboard, processor, and video card; make sure that they have installed correctly in the tower.

You will need to make sure you have the correct amount of memory(RAM) need to upgrade from Win98 to WinXP ( 128MB up 4GB).

Your hard drive will need at lease 2GB of space with at least 1.5GB of free space.

Make sure that the hardware device are Plug and Play compliant as well as compliant with OS

(WinXP).

Then you can upgrade from WIN98 to WinXP.
