My computer wont display anything on the moniter when i turn it on. I can hear the computer itself start up but it wont display anything. I tried all basic's like checking the moniter, the connections, etc and nothing changes. My guess is that the intergrated video card went dead so i bought a new video card but i doesnt work either, i guess because i dont have a way to install the drivers for it. So what should i do.

Check the data adn power connections to the monitor
Verify the power outlet to the monitor is working
Make sure the on/off switch on the monitor is at the on position
If the monitor has a voltage selection switch verify that it is set to 110 volts
Smell the monitor over its air vents If it smells like something electrical is burnt have it servciced by a qualified technician
Verify that the brightness/contrast settings on the monitor are set correctly
Try a different monitor
Reset your video card, Move it to a different slot
Remove the card and check that each socketed chip on the card is seated securely
If you have recently installed new hardware devise I suspec a resource conflict If the video card is a PCI card, the problem might arise from the PCI slot using a conflicting IRQ
Try these things:
Move the video card to another PCI slot
Disconnect nte new device
Poor cable connectios cause many monitor problems Please check your warranty
