I have two custom built pc's both with Windows XP Pro. On one when I open a favorites folder it opens maximized on the other it opens minimized. I cannot find any differences in the setings that would cause the problem and therefore I am confused as how to fix it.

On the computer that the folder opens up minimized, place the cursor at the very edge of the window that is minimized and you will see the cursor change into a double sided arrow Oncew you see that happen, keep it on that spot and click on the mouse and hold it down Then drag the mouse down to expand the window You do that until the window fills the screen.

When you restart your computer, the next time you open that window it will open maximized.
