I have created a startup disc - how do I use it, and what happens to my data files, eg Turbo tax, Quicken, spreadsheet Quatro Pro, and document files plus photo and music files?

I am getting the "blue screen of death" frequently; and I tho't that if I were to boot up using the startup disc, it might "clean up" my Windows ME.

I have scanned, defraged, and deleted cookies and temp files etc, but that doesn't seem to help much.

Tnx

Svan

The blue screen is sometimes call the blue screen of death It has nothing to do with your PC in particular The problem is in the software Win Me You might want to try to upgrade to Win XP, much better and stable operating system If you try using that start up disk you will loose all your files and your problem with the blue screen still will not be solved
