Not sure on hard drive capacity. I am asking about a error my sister gets on her computer when booted up. Video card I don't know about, and her monitor is a 15" I think. My sister can power up her computer and once on, on the monitor where the START and TASKBAR are suppose to be they are not there. It brings a box up saying "Explorer has caused an illegal operation and needs to shutdown" then she clicks on the "OK" button for it to do what it needs to do. After doing that, nothing else happens. When she puts in a CD-ROM or Floppy Disk, it does not run them. It doesn't do anything. What could be wrong? Any help is appreciated.

The first thing you should do is upgrade your operating system Then find out from your manufacturer what video card is compatible with your motherboard To find out how how much disk space you have, go to the control panel and click the sytem icon click properties, this should tell the size of your hard drive This will also tell you how much space you've used and how much space have left.
