First and foremost, it is important to remember that AssetMetrix sells software to fix the problem it is quick to point out With that being said, I have no doubt in my mind that a large amount of file-swapping is taking place inside corporate networks With all the hubbub the RIAA has caused, people will incorrectly feel safe hidden behind corporate IP addresses.

Companies are at risk Like it or not they are responsible for what is going on within their networks Even if AssetMetrix is exaggerating or stretching the numbers, sharing is still going on.

P2P-Tracker sounds pretty interesting, so much so that I am going to forward the link to my boss Companies have to protect themselves.

It stinks for employees who are used to getting their MP3s or other copyrighted materials on the company's 'Net connection, but oh well The handwriting is on the wall, and pretty soon there will be no place to hide.
