When I click the icon to start internet explorer, I find that my home page has switched itself to mk:@MSITStore:C:\WINDOWS\start.chm::/spplain.html

I change it back to what I want it to be but it always hijacks my home page again. How do I solve this problem?

I would first type in your home page address and then make sure you click the apply button at the bottom of the window.

If that doesn't work go to this site: http://www.cyberwalker.net/columns/oct02/241002.html

It will explain how you get hijack, how to fix the problem and how to prevent it from happening again.

Good Luck! Hope I was helpful.
