What is software?

When i go to start go up to progams my progams are not there.

How can i fix this so when i go there my progams will open

Seems like when your OS was installed you did not selected the default setting Try re-installing your OS and choose the default settings so it will copy the files to your C drive/programs But remember to back up any important files before reinstalling!
