What is connection pins?

Hey my monitor has been giving me issues lately and its only about 1 year old. Every now and then the screen will flicker yellow. It Happens so often now I'm worried it won't stop, and sometimes it stays yellow for hours. Have any clue what the problem might be, or how to solve it?

Check the connection to the PC and see if you have a pin or a couple of pins thats missing That is usually the cause for discoloration If thats the case let a certified technician take a look at it.
