Whenever I click on an icon on my desktop (ie explorer, MS Word, Outlook) there is a 15 second delay before the application actually opens. The hour glass will show up and then it will turn into the regular arrow cursor. I have increased my virtual memory but this did not help.

You may have too many shortcuts on your desktop What I suggest you do is delete the shortcuts you don't visit frequently This will help you access your programs alot faster Now By deleting the shortcuts from your desktop, don't think that you are actually deleting the programs You will still have access to your programs You would have to start button and go to programs, and you will see that your programs are still there
