Just bought a EZ-Buddie barebones. Purchased new ram, CPU and hard drive to install XP but system hangs and has to be restarted a few times before it will start to load. Will format ok but takes between 4-9 hours to install OS. Have bought a second set of components and same thing. tried 3 XP genuine CD's and still will not load OS. Before I through it out of the window has anyone any ideas. The only thing I can think is the memory. I have 400MHZ and the board supports 266/333MHZ would this be the cause? HELP.

The problem could be the new cpu you have just purchased Did you check to see if it is compatible with your motherboard? If I were you, I'd contact the manufacturer to see what cpu is compatible with the motherboard
