I have received the same Windows XP security update (KB835732) 7 times in as many days and have gone thru the installation process each time. Got it again today and am wondering "what's up"? Why are they spaming me with this update?

To whom it may concern:

If you were not aware you are able to disable auto update of Windows To do this click on start, settings, then control panel Once the control panel window pops up click on Automatic Updates, then uncheck the box that says Keep my computer up to date.. and then click ok

Once you have done this restart your computer When you boot back up you will no longer recieve automatic updates from microsoft You can now manually choose which updates you would like to install To do this click on Start then Windows Updates.
