I am plagued with spyware. I have installed Spybot and immunized, Ad-aware, and Spyware Blaster and they are all up to date. I have Norton Internet Security installed and updated. I have even increased my security settings on Internet Explorer. But I still have spyware. How do I know. I am frequently redirected to a search engine I have never installed (zestyfind.com; spotfind; etc.). Once I hit the "back" botton on IE, I am where I want to be. But there's more, I also have a favorite link in my favorite menu. I don't know where it came from. Spybot and Ad-aware can not get rid of it. I even tried messing around with the registry by deleting the link but it always reappers. Deleting the link from my favorites does not work. I am lost, frustrated and really, really mad. One more thing, I clicked on a link to what so happens to be an uninstaller for one of the spyware search engine that I am infected with but I am reluctant to download the uninstaller from the site that I want to uninstall, not to mention that the site is a spyware. My questions are: what can I do, should I trust the downloadable uninstaller, and what ELSE can I do to prevent this from happening again.

The webpage below will walk you through getting rid of your problem This page is from Symantec. http://sarc.com/avcenter/venc/data/adware.zestyfind.html

If the method above doesn't work for you then the method below will I was told by many people this method works First read the webpage. http://www.look2me.com/cgi-bin/UnInstaller After you read the page click the 'I Accept' button then they will then suppy a code you need to run the uninstaller and a link to download it.

Good Luck! Hope I was helpful.
