i have to two OS in my hard drive
WINME in primary C: partation
WINXP in logical D: partition
and i need to format partition c: and reinstal WINME in this partition (c:) without lossing the WINXP login ....in other word i wont to instal WINME without lossing the dos page appears
to permit me to chose WINME or WINXP
please how can i do this without reinstaling WINXP again after i instaled the new WINME?

The only thing that you can do is re-image the drive To do this, you have to go to the start button Then go to programs, then go to accessories, system tools, then click system recovery You will then see a calender The numbers that are bold, are the days that your system had no errors Select one of the bold calender days and your system will go back to it's normal operation You cannot format one partition You have to format the whole harddrive
