Registry problems?

Windows 98 normally keeps available the last four days of the registry. These are accessed by use of scanreg/restore command at the dos prompt. My system is no longer making these backups; the backups shown are months old, consecutive days. Why is windows no longer creating current backups of the registry? Thanks

You might try moving (do not leave a copy where they are located) to another

folder and rebooting See if it picks up and backs up the registry then

Something might have thrown it off
