Defrag problems?

When I try to defrag my computer, I never get past 1% processed.

Any suggestions?

When defragging , make sure no other applications are running (even in the system tray in the

lower right hand corner) see if this helps, if not, it's possible you have a damaged harddrive or part of the hard drive is damaged.
