Why doesn't my double click work properly

Here I am again with a problem this is the first i've seen of its kind on any operating system well when you double click a file or folder a screen pops up asking what do i want to search for and right clicking the menu has search on top in bold letters and then has run as followed by open then explore the question is how in the world do i fix this it just changed after a reboot what happened and how do i fix it it gets annoying having to right click everything and goto open

any help would be appreciated i've played for a week now with this problem hopefully you all would know something i dont
