Internet security software is designed to protect the computer to the fullest extent The software, when installed, is designed to do so right at the beginning It will check for viruses, block pop-ups, and check for even the slightest threat to the computer This isn't perfect software however Sometimes it will block pop-ups that you do want or block sites that you would like to go to that the software deems unsafe The best way for the user and the software to co-exist is to change the options Usually you can toggle whether you want the software to check websites or block pop-ups for you Another way to disable the effects of it is to look for the little icon on the bottom right hand corner of the taskbar Right click it and see if it's able to be disabled That should make your experience on the compter much more easier
