How do I get my computer to work?

while running scandisk my computer screen went blank and now the computer will not boot up. Nothing comes on the screen at all. Neither the keyboard,mouse,cd-rom or floppy drive work at all. Just the main power light illuminates. I'm stuck please help. Thankyou.

Perhaps your motherboard is not getting enough power Check to see if the connections are loose on the motherboard from the power supply Or you may have a bad power supply and you should change this.
