All of a sudden (please note, I have 2 kids, one who uses my computer) my desktop icons cannot be changed to their program supplied ones. All I can get is the little computer. I've tried changing through the "properties" window. It changes on that pull-down, but not on my desktop. I've tried going to microsoft.com to find an answer, and their answers are not understandable to the lay person. I think something happeden to the "cache", but I don't know how to go into regedit and change it! Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Eve Dyer

Hi, you might want to go to your control panel go to Display Then go to Effects Once there see if the box that says Hide icons when on webpage is not checked Also you can click on default icons
