I am unable to boot into XP, it just reboots at the Windows XP logo screen, It will do the same if I try Safe Mode. I have tried all other boot options and to same result. What can I do without reinstalling the OS?

Also no software has been installed

I think some of your system's resource must be damaged If you still can't boot up the WinXP, then visit http://www.microsoft.com/downloads for getting a Application named

Windows XP Professional Bootup Floppy Creator Download it and install it in

any of your friend's computer (who is having Windows XP Pro), then run that

program to create a Bootable floppy and using that floppy boot your Windows Xp

and then cure the problem.

If you are not even able to get into safe mode I would suggest an

in-place upgrade Its sort of like reinstallation of the OS but it will keep all

your current programs, settings and files in place: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;315341
