Each time when my computer starts up the desktop, the screen goes blank and displays a message: INPUT SIGNAL OUT OF RANGE 65KHZ/96KHZ. I had made sure that my monitor is plugged in and it is, but it keeps displaying this. However, it is functional in Safe Mode and I've tried changing the resolution there to fix the problem, but it still didn't work.

Try using a different monitor If you don't have the same problem with the new monitor, then you know that your old monitor is bad Also you should lower your refresh rate To do this Go into the control panel and double click the display icon Then click the settings tab You would then click the advance button Once there Click the monitor tab and go to the refresh frequency drop down arrow Set your settings to 60 Hertz Click apply, then ok, and close out
