i recently built my PC and i was working fine ant the i decided to change the heatsink it powered on fine at first and now i push the power buton and it just comes on then off in a sec i thought that maybe it was a bad connection then i was wondering if i shocked the system eventhough i was grounded? or is it something else? and i know i have a big enough power supply as well i have a 550w

To whom it may concern:

It sounds like when you put the new heatsink into your computer that you either did not reconnect something properly or that you accidently knocked something out of place.

I would suggest making sure that everything in your computer is properly placed such as ram, cpu, video card, sound card, psu plug, etc...

Make sure everything is secured into its socket and your problem should be solved.

Sincerely,

Dimitrios Theodorou
