Why does my computer say I don't have A sound device?
This question was answered on May 26, 2004. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.
To whom it may concern:
First of all you need to make sure that you actually do have a sound device, a.k.a sound card If you do have a sound card in your system or even integrated on your motherboard it may be required for you to install the drivers for that sound card before your system can detect it
You will have to find out the vendor of your sound card and go to their website and download the drivers When you download the drivers and install them, you will have to reboot your computer then your sound card should be working.
If you can not find out the vendor of the sound card by looking at the sound card you will have to call the company where you bought your computer If you did buy a brand name computer most likely they will have the sound card drivers on their website.
Sincerely,
Dimitrios Theodorou
