What is uninstall ?

Had MCafee 7.0 virus scan on board, worked fine, then subscription ran out, down loaded Mcafee 6.0 security and tried to install, nothing but problems since then, I deleted all files for 6.0, and reinstalled XP Pro, and then all MS Updates, nothing but problems, last but not least once I was finished and reinstalled 6.0 AGAIN, now when ever I connect to the internet, the modem is showing me it is continously sending, I don't know what or where it is going. Short of wiping the hard drive do you have any suggestions?

Everything else is working fine again, but I can not figure out what is being sent or where it is going, I changed all my account info because of this, any ideas what is up with the modem now?

MCafee 6.0 is not compatible with your system.

uninstall the troubled virus software and purchase a new copy.
