Windows XP uses the "autoplay" settings to determine what action should be taken when a CD or DVD disc is inserted into its drive You can change what happens when you insert discs to you PC by adjusting the settings on your PC <strong>Follow the steps below: </strong>

1 Open &#39;My Computer&#39;

2 Right-click the &#39;CD&#39; or &#39;DVD&#39; drive for which you wish to edit the autoplay settings

3 Click on &#39;Properties&#39;

4 Choose the &#39;Autoplay tab&#39;

5 For each type of media in the drop-down list, select the desired action and click &#39;Apply&#39;

6 Then choose &#39;OK&#39; when finished Now your CD or DVD will play according to your liking.
