Ok, I got this virus that NAV defined as backdoor.Jeem

I scanned the folder that the virus was in, but I was unable to delete the files. So I deleted it myself using a scanner I made. Then I scanned system32 and it deleted one file. So I restarted my computer.

Now my taskbar has a quicksearch thing which Im sure I have rid of now. Then I ran adaware (578 files found) and cleaned up the registry.

After that I tried restoring my computer, but it says it was incomplete and did nothing. Not only that, but now my computer runs slooooow. My cursor moves slow and it acts like its running at 10 frames per second! When I pull up my start bar my cursor takes a while to get there. It just runs sloooow. PLEASE help!!

To whom it may concern:

This sounds to me like you have a virus that is affecting your system If you have an anti-virus program I would suggest updating the anti-virus then scan your system and delete any virus that you might have.

If you do not have a anti-virus program you may check if your computer has viruses for free at http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ If the program finds any viruses it will NOT delete them due to it being a free scan, you must purchase their software If you see that you do have a virus it is advised to go out buy anti-virus software and eliminate any viruses from your computer.

Another thing you can try is to search your computer for adware which is simular to a virus You can get free adware removing program by going to security.kolla.de/ to download the program This scans for adware and removes anything thats harmful to your computer After you install the program download all the updates before you scan for any adware, after you scan you will be able to remove anything found.
