Computer makes a soft click and restarts itself

I leave my computer on all the time, but lately I've noticed my computer makes a soft "click" as if I turned off the monitor and restarts itself. My power supply is only a 1-2 yrs old (300 watt Antec). Can you help?

This sounds like an overheating issue I would suggest you turn off the computer and carefully vacuum around the fan area (usually in back) and make sure that all the vents on the case are clear of dust and that nothing is blocking them Carefully open tha case and check for dirt and dust inside Also make sure that your computer is not sitting to close to a wall or other obstruction Remember that the interior of a computer can get extremely hot (that's why servers are always in air conditioned rooms), so make sure that it can stay cool.
