When I go to javagameplay.com (or other java game sites) I get the message "the Java runtime environrnmet cannot be loaded from <\bin\hotspot\jvm.dll>" I.E. (ver6) then closes with fatal error

Have removed and reloaded java to no effect. Site worked fine until recently. "System restore" does not affect problem. Are we talking a registry edit of some type?

To whom it may concern:

To me it sounds like the problem is with JAVA not internet explorer Two things you should do to fix this problem First check if there are any Windows updates for your system, if there is download and install the updates.

Next go to start, settings, and control panel Once at the control panel double click Add/Remove Programs, when the Add/Remove Programs window pops up search for JAVA that is installed When you find it, highlight it and click remove Once you have done this go to the JAVA website at java.sun.com/ and download the newest version of JAVA Once downloaded install JAVA and restart your computer After doing this you should be able to visit any JAVA site without any problems.
