On my Toshiba laptop, T2400C, I can't get it to recognize my hard drive. I can get into CMOS, but I can't enter any info regarding my hard drive. I don't have the Master Disk Creator. All I have is my window startup disk, and a companion disk, and some windows utilities. At one time, I was able to access my hard drive, and then one day I tried to boot, and it doesn't recognize my hard drive. Waht can I do, if anything?

Thanks,

Ann

Ann:

Sounds to me as this is a hardware problem Because you are on a laptop it is not wise to open it and check for any problems unless you are qualified to do so I would suggest that you contact Toshiba, the manufacturer of your laptop, and explain the problem you are having with the laptop

You can call Toshiba Technical Support at 1(800) 457-7777.

Or you can go to the Toshiba Support website at http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_home.jsp.
