I read about a question on this site about not connecting to the internet, but the answer that was giving about finding the folder WINIPCFP

This question was answered on October 25, 2004. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.


WINIPCONF was the utility to use in Windows 98 to check your IP configuration from a DOS prompt.

IPCONFIG is now used with Win XP and 2k.

from the DOS prompt type IPCONFIG and you'll see your internet configuration.
