Is it difficult to read the text in Internet Explorer's Address Bar when your display is set to a high resolution? This may be something that is easier to fix than you think The Address Bar uses the same font as the icon titles on the desktop and that can be changed through Display Properties
Follow the steps below:
1 Right-click on the desktop and choose 'Properties'
2 Select the 'Appearance' tab (If you're running Windows XP, click on the Advanced button)
3 In the pull-down Item list, select Icon
4 Choose a more readable font & click 'Apply'
If the icon titles are now truncated, change the Icon Spacing (Horizontal & Vertical) to larger values Now you can read the text without having to squint or get close to the monitor
