What is a windows update?

I've been getting tons for windows error reports, i cant even stay online for 30 minutes without getting an error reports. I cant play any games or install certain programs. How do you solve this error report or what can the problem be?

The reason why you're receiving so many error messages is probably because you're not current with your updates You need to download the patches that microsoft offers regularly for your computer to run smoothly You can do this at the following website: http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com You will most likely have to restart your computer after the necessary patches have been downloaded for your problem to go away
