What is the power supply

While plugging in my computer a spark came from the surge protectr. Now the computer will not turn on at all. Are there any solutions other than replacing it?

You probably burnt out your power supply You should replace it with a new one with the same wattage If that does not solve your problem you may have blown the whole computer.
