Screen looks like it was enlarged

When I turned on my computer instead of getting a normal desktop and screen it looks like it was enlarged for people that dont see to good. how do i reverse this problem. it messes up all my programs to large for screen and it totally messes up my windows media player 9.it gives a different view. i looked everywhere i could think of to change the view.wasted 2 days and no help.

You will need to change your display properties to fix this problem Right-click anywhere on the desktop and scroll down to Properties Clicking on this brings up your Display Properties In the window select the 'Appearance' tab and change the options to reduce the size If this doesn't seem to work select the 'Settings' tab and try increasing or decreasing the screen resolution to a preferred adjustment Good Luck!!
