My home page everytime I go online in explorer. it changes from Http://hp.......... to res;//..................

I have gotten into something that changes my home page everytime i go on line in explorer.

it changes from Http://hp.......... to res;//.................. and brings up some kind of new menu.

Is there anything I can do to get rid of this problem?

By the looks of it, it sounds like you are the very unfortunate victim of a web browser hijacking What that means is, your browser settings are being forcibly hijacked by web sites and software which alter and modify your default start and search pages But have no fear for this problem is easily curable What you can do to rid yourself of this problem is download a program called Ad-aware which cleans out your system and allows you to surf the internet with a higher degree of privacy You will be able to download the program at: http://www.download.com/3000-2094-10045910.html?legacy=cnet Simply connect to the internet and input the following web site into your address bar and begin downloading After the download is complete you will want to reboot your computer for all the new changes to effect Good Luck!!
