How can the arrangement of quicklaunch icons be made to stay

The Quicklaunch shortcuts, located @

C:\Documents and Settings\ <username> \Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

but rearranging them here will do nothing other than arrange them for viewing only in the explorer window.

How can the arrangement of the quicklaunch icons in the taskbar be made to stick in the order I dragged them?

To whom it may concern:

You do not need to arange anything in the quicklaunch folder All you need to do is drag any icon you want into the quicklaunch And drag the icons to put them in the certain order that you want Once you do this the icons should always stay as it is as long as you shut down properly so it saves.
