OS Upgrade

Let Data Doctors be your personal IT department today

My computer was purcahsed in 1998.

It had 98 system.

Now it has XP system.

It starts but then it shows blue screen for a second and then again goes into start mode.

Tried to removr RAM, recovery disk, but did not help.

Any ideas or thoughts?

Looking at your system specs, I see that you have a 486 processor This is far below the minimum specs required by Winodws XP You have two options: to continue to use Windows XP, you will need to purchase a new computer, otherwise, you will need to 'downgrade' to Windows 98 'Downgrading' in this instance will require a format and reinstall of the OS.
