My PC crashed yesterday and since then I am getting the error message MMOTIVEDIRECTORY caused an invalid page fault in moduel KERNEL32.DLL at 017f:bff7b992.

Since then whenever I attempt to look at anything on the myComputer incon, mydocuments icon, access documents via the start menu, the PC freezes and I have to reboot it. If I attempt to click on IE icon, this also freeezes the machine. However if I click on word of excel documents on the desktop they will load up and so will Outlook.

I used the system back up disc that I received with my Gateway to reinstall Windows but this doesn't seem to have made any difference. And I cannot find anything on Microsoft to help me out. I have seen some questions relating to printers and MotiveDirectory but my printer is still printing.

HELP - this is very annoying.
