how do I set password on share folder on Lan network?

note:operating system is Windows XP with FAT 32.

1 Using Windows Explorer, select the folder, C:\data or something to that effect Right-Click the folder name If the system is configured for file and printer sharing, the shortcut menu opens

2 Click the Shared As option button and enter a name for the shared folder This action makes the folder available to others on the network They can see the folder when they open the network neighborhood on their desktop.

3 In the section labeled Access Type, click the “Depends on Password” option button.

4 To allow others the right to make changes to the folder, enter a password under “Full Access Password” For read-only access, enter a different password Click OK to exit the Window.
